Headway is part of the Seafair Capital group of companies, a strategic leadership and community investment company founded and operating in Newfoundland and Labrador. Seafair’s community care ventures deliver community, home, and residential care, employing more than 1,000 individuals in Newfoundland and Labrador.
At the beginning of the pandemic Seafair reacted quickly to secure a supply of PPE to protect its own community care providers and clients. However, there was a growing need in the larger health and community care industry for these supplies and we wanted to help.
That is where it all began.
We established Headway, to source Health Canada-approved PPE to protect essential workers and the people they cared for from COVID-19. Our experience in the community care sector, as well as our local network, allowed our team to quickly source, mobilize, and formalize the logistics needed to establish a distribution network to provide personal protective equipment to health care providers, government agencies, and private business in Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
Today, Headway is an established, licensed, rapid response provider of personal protective equipment, medical supplies, and devices to health care providers throughout Canada and the world.
